![]() ![]() Looking at the back of the unit, the fan tray on the right of the Service Module's Hard Drive(s) are Fans 0 and 1. In 7.1R1, it reports the status of each individual fan, which are numbered from 0 to 3 so there are two fan statuses for each available fan tray for the Service Module. In the Administrator Console, under Maintenance > System > Platform, there is a section displaying the Hardware Status of the fans. Each Service Module requires two working fan trays to be inserted or the platform will generate an audible beep, which is repeated every second until the failure is corrected. The fan trays fit either side of Service Module's Hard Drive(s). The Service Modules are inserted in the front of the device and for each one, there are associated Hard Drive(s) and two fan trays, which are inserted in the back. The MAG6610 and MAG6611 are modular platforms, which have hot-swappable fan trays, each of which contain two fans. ![]()
